Portrait of Robert Burke
// March 16th, 2007 // Joe's Blog

I was recently asked to join forces with one of Appalshop’s latest projects “Community Correspondents Corps.” For my first project I made a 9 minute and 44 second piece dedicated to my still living great grandfather, Robert Burke. You can find the actual news release on CCC’s web site or you can listen to the entire thing right here via my blog. Just click the play button in the player above. The life and upbringing of Christian morals, handed down literally an entire century. Born in 1909, Robert celebrates 102 years of life, faith and family. A true testimony of the spirit. I hope you enjoy this segment and I’ll be sure to let you all know if and when it air’s on WMMT radio.
